The document signing system is used to prevent fraud and uses a moving web, on which an image can be formed, with means for obtaining the image on the web upon application of pressure. Transport means are used to transport the surface of the web relative to the document to be signed and further means ensure that the document is positioned above the moving web surface and the means for obtaining the image of the signature on the latter. The web may be a paper band (4), which is positioned within a housing together with the transport means (2, 3) and the means for providing the signature image on the web. The paper band (4) may have a surface coating for obtaining the visible image, e.g. carbon paper. |
