PURPOSE:To set plural different copying modes of an image copying device with the aid of one IC card by analyzing image processing information stored in a portable external storing means, displaying a mode which cannot form the image processing information and selectively calling a mode capable of forming the information. CONSTITUTION:When data is transferred from an IC card control part 2-6, a CPU circuit part 2-4 judges whether all modes registered in the IC card can be set or not, and calling operation ends in the case of absence of a set-disable mode. If so, a screen selecting call/cancel is displayed on a display part. Then a control key call/cancel on an operating part is selected. With 'call' selected, the screen is reset to a standard screen to terminate the calling operation. Whereas 'cancel' is selected, a copying mode transferred to a temporarily saving RAM area before calling is transferred to a copying mode setting RAM area of a main body to display the standard screen. Thus plural copying modes of the image copying device can be set through one IC card. |
