PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform maintenance by converting object data and receiving the conversion result or sending the processed data to a site of the Internet through easy operation for sending electronic mail to which the object data are attached. SOLUTION: This system is so constituted as to wait for electronic mail, so constituted as to obtain attached data from received electronic mail, so constituted as to obtain an indication about how the data are processed from the contents of the received electronic mail, and so constituted as to add converting, transmitting, and authenticating functions and perform other processing according to the obtained indication, and further characterized by a function of sending the processing result back or maintaining information of a site on the Internet by using those functions.
