<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an air purifying product purifying contaminated air containing malodorous gases such as NH3, H2S, by reacting the gases with a metal or a metal alloy incorporating S to bring it into contact with an aqueous acid solution in the air. CONSTITUTION:On the iron surface contacted with an aqueous relatively diluted acid solution and being let it in the air, iron hydroxide, ferric oxide and magnetite are formed and a composition being extremely superior in de-hydrogen sulfide performance is formed. When hydrogen sulfide is adsorbed into it, it changes to a composition being extremely superior in de-CH3SH performance compared to the composition before hydrogen sulfide is adsorbed. In the composition being superior in de-CH3SH performance formed with the adsorption of hydrogen sulfide, iron sulfide exhibits a main effect. By reacting with an aqueous acid solution in the air by preliminarily using a metal having a high sulfur content, the same result, namely, the composition being superior in de-CH3SH performance is obtained.</p> |
