PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding nozzle comprising three plates disposed on a bottom part of a metallurgic vessel capable of preventing deposited metal oxide on the sliding nozzle while ensuring the quality at a low cost. SOLUTION: The sliding nozzle of the metallurgic vessel comprises an upper plate, a sliding plate and a lower plate disposed on the bottom part of the metallurgic vessel, and a face directed to at least the closing direction of an inner hole surface of the sliding plate is tapered from an upper part to a lower part. In addition, in a deposit removing method in the sliding nozzle of the metallurgic vessel, a flow passage is fully closed by an upper side of the sliding plate, deposits are removed by blowing gaseous oxygen between the upper plate and the lower plate while ensuring a space between a lower part of a hole in the sliding plate and an inner hole of the lower plate.
