PURPOSE:To make the shape of a package small, enable installation close to a wall surface, and reduce a housing space by providing an oscillating motor under a supporting body on which a head part having a vane motor is supported and eliminating the rearward projection of said head part. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating device is formed in such a way that a head part 6 having a vane motor 5 is supported on the upper part of a nearly L- shaped supporting body 7, whose lower part is rotatably installed on a lower member 13, and that an oscillating motor 22 is provided in a case 14 located on the lower part of the supporting body 7 to transmit an oscillating motion to the supporting body 7. Thus, since the oscillating motor 22 is provided in the case 14 positioned under the supporting body 7 on which the head part 6 having the vane motor 5 is supported, the head part 6 will not be projected rearward. Accordingly, the shape of a package can be made small, enabling installation close to a wall surface as well as housing in a small space.
