PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition improved in electrical insulation properties, resistance to copper contamination, and electrical conductivity after immersion in hot water and being therefore desirable as a wire coating material. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass vinyl chloride resin, 0.01-10 pts.mass (a) hydrotalcite compound, 0.01-5 pts.mass (b) organic acid zinc salt, and 0.001-10 pts.mass (c) N,N-bis[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxphenyl)propionyl]hydrazine.
