<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed water supply system reducing the height dimension of a pump structure. SOLUTION: This feed water supply system is so constituted that a check module 42 having a check mechanism regulating a counterflow flowing toward discharge ports 14 is incorporated in a pipe part of a discharge pipe 17 extending along the outside of pump parts 13 in the pump structure 10. The pump structure is so constituted that suction ports 15 of vertical pumps 11a and 11b, which are provided with the pump parts 13 having the discharge ports 14 facing frontward and suction ports 15 facing downwards in the lower side and motors 12 driving the pump parts 13 in the upper side, are connected to a suction side confluent pipe 26 passing through the lower side of the pump parts 13, and the discharge ports 14 extending downward along the outer surface of the pump parts 13 are connected to a discharge side confluent pipe 27 in the lower side of the pump parts 13. The check valve is thus fitted to a part of the discharge pipe 17, which is not adopted so far, so that the length from the bottom to the tip of the discharge side of the pump parts 13 occupied by the check valve conventionally can be reduced so as to shorten the distance from the discharge ports 14 of the pump parts 13 to the discharge side confluent pipe 27.</p> |
