PURPOSE:To reduce the lowering of critical temp. at which electric resistance becomes zero and the lowering of critical current density due to the application of a magnetic field by firing a starting material mixture contg. prescribed amts. of Pt, Bi, Pb, Sr, Ca, Mg, Ba and Cu. CONSTITUTION:Starting materials separately contg. Pt, Bi, Pb, Sr, Ca, Mg, Ba and Cu are mixed so as to render a compsn. contg. 0.1-2wt.% Pt and represented by a general formula Bi1- PbASrB CaBMgCBaDCu1.7+ or -0.3OX (where A is 0.01-0.35, B is 0.8-11, B is 0.8-1.2, C is 0.05-0.3, D is (0.2 and the numbers in the formula show atomic ratio) and an oxide superconductor is obtd. by firing the resulting mixture. |
