The roller bearing consists of rollers (6) placed between two rolling pathways (3,5) with which they are in contact. The pathways are formed on inner and outer sleeves (2,4). The rollers and the pathways have, in section, the same radius of curvature (R). The radius is greater than the distance between the outer pathway (5) and the axis of the bearing (8), measured perpendicular to the bearing pathway. This allows the rollers to move axially between the pathways without being restricted by axial retainers. The retainers are fitted at a point on the pathways to allow a relative misalignment and a possible axial movement of the pathways. One of the sleeves (4) is provided with a retaining clip (9) fitted in the radial space between the two pathways and placed on the side of the outer sleeve at a position to allow maximum relative displacement between the sleeves and the roller. |
