Locking system for comminuting machines

The invention relates to a locking system for comminuting machines, especially impact pulverisers, which have foldable housing parts. The housing parts 1, 2 are provided with flanges 5, 6. Bearing parts 9 designed as shackles 11 are screwed to the flange 6. Arranged slideably underneath the flange 5 is a rod 13 having webs 14, to which wedges 7 are fastened adjustably. The wedges 7 engage into the shackles 11 and pull the flanges 5, 6 and therefore the housing parts together. A plurality of wedges are provided on a rod which has a drive consisting of a cylinder 18 and of a piston rod 19. For the flanged connection of an impact pulveriser, a large number of locking devices 7, 9 are distributed on a plurality of rods 13 which each have a drive 17. All the rods (all the locking devices) can also be actuable only by means of a single drive. <IMAGE>
