PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably prevent such an erroneous operation as inadvertent adjustment of sound volume of a head-mounted display due to an external factor or the like in a non-mounted state.SOLUTION: In accordance with a non-mounted state of a head-mounted display 10 in which a user does not wear the head-mounted display 10, adjustment control of sound volume is performed in response to an operation on the sound volume by a user. For example, in the non-mounted state, if a long-depressing operation of a button in a "+" direction is invalidated, the sound volume never increases even if the button is depressed long in the "+" direction due to an external factor in the non-mounted state. Consequently, even if the user wears the head-mounted display to restart viewing, there is no fear of causing a hearing disorder due to detonating sound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
