DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A dye-sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve an electron collecting capability by using a multi-directional conductive portion. First and second substrates(100,200) are opposite to each other. A first electrode portion(40) is formed between the first and second substrates in order to be used as one electrode in an oxidation-reduction reaction. A second electrode portion(10) is formed between the first and second substrates in order to be used as the other electrode in the oxidation-reduction reaction. A porous layer(22) is interposed between the first and second electrode portions to be used as an electron conduction band. A light absorbing portion(24) is formed on the porous layer in order to supply electrons. An inner space(50) is formed between the first and second electrode portions in order to store an electrolyte. A sealing portion(30) is used for forming the inner space. A three directional conductive portion is formed at least one end portion between the first and second electrode portions.
