<p>PURPOSE:To make compact the installation area of an image formation device and also, lessen the jam occurrence of a sheet material, by arranging an approximately perpendicular sheet pass extending from a paper feeding portion to a paper discharging portion through an image forming means portion. CONSTITUTION:A sheet material paper feeding portion B and a sheet material paper discharging portion C are arranged at one side and the other side of the upper portion and the lower portion of an image forming means portion A with this A in the middle. A sheet material is fed and transported to an approximately perpendicular sheet pass D, and an image is formed against the surface of the sheet material. Thus, the lowering of the jam occurrence rate of the sheet material can be realized by making the sheet pass D a substantially straight sheet pass having no U turn portions.</p> |
