The present invention relates to a battery balancing device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the battery balancing device comprises: a battery unit including a plurality of battery cells; a monitoring unit connected to the battery unit to monitor a charging/discharging state of the battery unit; a charging unit connected to the battery unit to charge or discharge the battery unit; and a control unit configured to determine whether the battery unit is discharged through the monitoring result and to control the discharging of the battery unit through the charging unit based on the determination result. Therefore, the battery balancing device can increase the entire charging efficiency of a battery. |
