发明名称 MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LiMn2O4 POWDER FOR CATHODE MATERIAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method of LiMn2O4 for a cathode material of lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: A fine particle product is manufactured with the adoption of the citrate-gel method, where lithium nitrate and manganese nitrate as starting materials, citric acid as a chelating agent, and diethylamine for adjusting pH value around 6 to 7 are included. Organic amine salt is formed to accelerate gel forming. The gel is sintered for 24 hours at 300 deg.C to 800 deg.C after an organic matter is removed by pyrolysis. Oxygen is introduced at sintering. The LiMn2O4 particle products formed are all characterized, having a spinel structure with impurities removed and an excellent crystalline quality with an even distribution of particle diameters. The invented method enables to manufacture fine, single- phase and even particles at a comparatively low temperature, which is suitable for mass production, and therefore, has a grave industrial value.
