PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of preparing high fidelity common format data(PDF) for printing regardless of the capabilities of various application programs. SOLUTION: When application data (ST1) prepared by various application programs are inputted, the data are fetched in the configuration of the intermediate file for edition of a prescribed format(EMF format or the like) capable of operating prescribed print data (ST2), and added with print control information by layout edition, and an edited intermediate file (first intermediate file) is prepared (ST3, ST4). Prescribed conversion processing is operated based on the analytic result of the edited intermediate file (ST5), and an intermediate file (second intermediate file) for printing (outputting) having a format capable of integrally dealing with each data is generated (ST6, ST7), and a common format data(PDF) file for printing is stored in a storage device based on the second intermediate file. |
