PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of printing and density measuring times of a test pattern for calibration. SOLUTION: Image input/output characteristics is calculated from information obtained based on environment information acquired by a temperature sensor 82, the kind of photographic paper read by identification sensors 67 and 68, photographic paper characteristics information stored in a photographic paper characteristics memory, and past calibration history information stored in a calibration history memory. The calculated result is outputted to a laser driver 54 so as to execute the correction of exposure, etc., and perform the calibration of a printer 18, whereby the number of printing and density measuring times of the test pattern for calibration is reduced. Then, working efficiency is improved and the photosensitive material is saved. |
