MAGNETIC CARD AND MAGNETIC CARD ISSUING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To form the magnetic card having a large memory capacity by providing circular tracks to the magnetic card applied with a magnetic material and storing data therein. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential magnetic tracks are constituted around a central point C and are magnetized by specifying the magnetization pitch to the density corresponding to 210BPI/75BPI specified in JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) to obtain prescribed recording capacity. The length of the tracks is 119mm if the diameter of the circumferential tracks is specified to 38mm. The number of the characters which can be recorded is then increased to 1.7 times the number of the tracks which can be recoded to the linear tracks of the conventional magnetic card of a name card type. The region for recording is increased in this way and the number of the characters which can be written on the magnetic card is increased.
