PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated device which outputs gradation control signals at a low cost without depending on dot sizes. SOLUTION: A device 1 is constituted of a five-bit binary counter 2, a scan counter 3, a register selector 4, three five-bit contrast registers 5, 6 and 7, a decoder 9, an exclusive NOR circuit 10, a latch circuit 11, a NAND circuit 12 and a NOT circuit 13. A contrast control for 32 gradations is conducted by the registers 5, 6 and 7.
