<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an industrially advantageous and also inexpensive polymer molded article, and excellent in mechanical characteristics and dimensional stability, and a polymer electrolyte component excellent in practicality achieving a high output, high energy capacity and a long term durability. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the polymer molded article at least has the following processes (1) and (2). (1) A process of forming a polymer material containing a constituting unit including a protecting group by using a solvent, (2) a process of deprotecting the protecting group. And, the de-protection is performed by dry-heating the article until the protecting group content after passing through the process (2) becomes ≤70% content of the protecting group of the polymer material used in the process (1).
