PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium cell which can improve a deposition rate when an anode active substance membrane is deposited by deposition using a vaporing raw material with silicon as a main composition, and has an excellent productivity and maintains a high level charging and discharging capacity.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an electrode for a lithium cell includes a process in which a vaporing material containing Si and Fe 0.0005 or more and 0.15 or less in a mol ration of Fe/(Si+Fe) is prepared, and a deposition process in which the vaporing material is melted and vapored and deposited on a current collector directly or with a base layer in-between.
