Disclosed is a method for preparing phenyl bis(2,4,6-trimethyl benzoyl) phosphine oxide as a free radical photoinitiator with high efficiency. The method specifically involves reacting phenyl phosphine as a starting material with 2,4,6-trimethyl benzoyl chloride under alkaline compounds to obtain an intermediate, and obtaining the phenyl bis(2,4,6-trimethyl benzoyl) phosphine oxide through an oxidation of the obtained intermediate. The method provided by the present invention is low-cost, easy to operate, high in yield, environmentally-friendly and adaptable to industrialization. |
