CHARGE CONVERTING FILM AND PARTICLE ACCELERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form and handle a charge converting film made of carbon. SOLUTION: A particle accelerator (1) comprises: an accelerator body (2) having a circulating track (11) of proton beams inside; an incident part (3) in which a negative polarized hydrogen ion beam as a charged particle is made incident into the accelerator body (2); and the charge converting film (16) which is disposed on an incident track (11b) of a negative polarized hydrogen ion beam made incident from the incident part (3) and which is constituted of a carbon nanotube film for exfoliating an electron form the negative polarized hydrogen ion beam and converting the exfoliated electron to the proton beam.
