<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device such as a liquid crystal display device which can enhance transmittance for light in each pixel and can display a luminous high-quality image. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical device includes an element substrate (10), a pixel electrode (9) which is provided on the element substrate, a semiconductor element (30) formed at least a part of the element substrate, and a light reflection portion (210) comprising a groove (210v) formed on at least a part of the element substrate.
