摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger bed composed of a thermomagnetic molding, in particular, properly used for purposes of cooling or power generation in a heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A packed heat exchanger bed composed of thermomagnetic material particles which have an average particle size in the range from 50 μm to 1 mm, and a porosity in the packed bed in the range from 30 to 45%, and a heat exchanger bed composed of a thermomagnetic material monolith which has continuous channels in the range from 0.001 to 0.2 mmof cross-sectional area, a wall thickness of 50 to 300 μm, a porosity in the range from 10 to 60%, and a ratio of surface to volume in the range from 3000 to 50000 m/m, or which has a plurality of parallel sheets with a sheet thickness of 0.1 to 2 mm, and a sheet separation of 0.05 to 1 mm, are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
