PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a solid electrolytic capacitor which is reduced a time for chemical conversion treatment, has no need of keeping a chemical conversion treatment solution at a high temperature, and is improved in electric characteristics of the solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the solid electrolytic capacitor includes a step of subjecting a positive electrode formed of a valve-acting metal to chemical conversion treatment to form a dielectric oxide film on the positive electrode. In the chemical conversion treatment, a chemical conversion treatment solution composed of water, a phosphorous acid, and a sulphuric acid is used in a state that the total concentration of the phosphorous acid and sulphuric acid in the chemical conversion treatment solution is 10 to 75 wt.%. It is preferable that the chemical conversion treatment solution contains the sulphuric acid of 0.5 pt.wt. or more with respect to the phosphorous acid of 1 pt.wt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
