Provided is a substrate for a display panel, by which a short-circuited portion can be modified when a data signal line and a conductor film are short-circuited, in a configuration where the data signal line is provided with a parasitic capacitance. A display panel provided with such substrate is also provided. A plurality of strip-like conductors (1262) are superimposed on an extraction wiring (121) for transmitting a data signal to a data signal line (111) through an insulating film (132). The strip-like conductors (1262) are electrically connected by connecting sections (1263, 1264, 1265) having portions which are not superimposed on the extraction wiring.
