Disclosed are a light guide (100) and backlight module. The light guide (100) comprises at least one column of light guide arrays (110). The adjacent light guide arrays (110) are arranged at intervals. The light guide arrays (110) are formed of at least two light guide components (111) disposed adjacent to each other. The light guide (100) has light source sides (101). The light guide areas of the light guide components (111) are gradually increased as away from the light source sides (101), and thus the intensity of light source of the light guide (100) is increased in the positions away from light sources, preventing exiting light rays of the light guide (100) from concentrating in a certain direction, thereby reducing interferences and therefore achieving a uniform light source projected on a display screen. The light guide arrays (110) of the light guide (100) also can be arranged in a broken-line or curved-line arrangement.
