PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packaging body for a lithographic printing plate capable of intercepting the penetration of light from the outside under a packaged condition, a packaging apparatus and a packaging method. SOLUTION: Sides 30C of selvedges 30 of inner packaging paper 29 are folded so that when the sides 30C are folded into valleys, a pair of valley-folds S formed intersect each other, and a point Q of the intersection of these valley-folds S is formed at an upper side higher than a folding-back line L of the upper face 30A of the selvedge parts 30 of the inner packaging paper 29. By this, an intercepting wall is formed of the valley-folded parts of the selvedges 30 of the inner packaging paper 29 (a region inside of the valley-folds S) and the upper face 30A and the lower face 30B of the selvedges 30 of the inner packaging paper 29. Namely, light penetrating from the sides 30C of the selvedges 30 of the inner packaging paper 29 is intercepted by the intercepting wall to intercept a passage to the end face 12A of a PS plate bundle 12, and the end face 12A of the PS plate bundle 12 can be prevented from being exposed to the light.
