NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [D is dye residue free from sulfonic acid group; X is -O- or -NH-; R is H, O, nitroso, OH or (substituted) alkyl]. EXAMPLE:The compound of formula II. USE:A dye for dyeing and printing cellulose acetate fiber, polyester fiber, etc. in a color having high light fastness. PREPARATION:The objective compound can be prepared, e.g. by reacting the corresponding carbonyl halide or sulfonyl halide with the compound of formula III.
