PURPOSE:To form a two-color three-dimensional pattern by undercoating the surface of a member, sticking a cut-pattern type sheet on the surface, overcoating the cut pattern part in the same color as the undercoat, stripping off the coat, coating in another color tone and tearing off the sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a three-dimensional pattern is formed on the wall surface or the surface of a building member, the wall surface is undercoated with a trowel and then a cut-pattern type sheet 5 is stuck thereon. Subsequently, an overcoating material 7 in the same color tone as the undercoating material is coated to fill the cut-pattern part of the sheet 5. The second overcoating material consisting of the same material as the overcoating material 7 and having a different color tone is further coated. The sheet 5 is stripped off immediately after the coating and the angle of the protruding part on the coated surface is naturally rounded off by dripping. A three-dimensional pattern is thus formed on the surface of a member, etc., conveniently and with good reproducibility.
