<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer lightning arrestor which is improved in strength in the axial direction and has a mechanical weak point that can be provided in the radial direction. SOLUTION: A polymer lightning arrestor is equipped with an inner component composed of zinc oxide elements and an intermediate spacer which are laminated and end face fittings each provided to the end faces of the laminate, a winding cord member which is impregnated with resin and wound on the inner component in the direction of lamination to bind the elements of the inner component together, and a polymer insulating tube which hermetically seals in the inner component and the winding cord member.</p> |
