Safety wheel rim for tubeless tyre - double stiffening cords either side of ridge on rim

Each side of the tyre rim has double stiffening inserts while the edges of the wheel rim are convex under the inserts. The tyre edges sit on the convex section with the inserts on either side of the ridge. The external walls of the tyre are braced on removable rims, which are wedged in position by the lateral pressure of the tyre, against the beading around the outside of the wheel rims. The system holds the tyre on the rim even when deflated and provides safe braking after a blow-out.
