PURPOSE:To certainly carry out change over, by working an actuator for advancing and backing until a front and back change over apparatus neutralizes running system when it is detected to return F or R non-stage gear change lever from speed increasing position to neutral position. CONSTITUTION:When speed changing means 21 are operated at a stroke from an advancing area F toward a backing area R, means 23 for detecting position detect detect the passage of neutral position N of the speed changing operation means 21. Thereby forcedly working means 47 gives a signal and the actuator 36 for advancing and backing is forcedly operated in one direction and running system is changed over to neutral by an advance or back change apparatus 34. When the neutral is detected by a change over detecting means 43, the forcedly working means 47 stops the actuator 36 for advancing and backing. Then the running system is changed over to advance side corresponding to the position of speed changing operation means 21 by working to other direction of the actuator 36 for advancing and backing.
