Assembly to process textile materials, in yarn or ribbon or fabric form, has a series of baths with supply containers for the various liq. chemicals, where at least the end section of each tube connection between the baths and the supply containers is flexible. The flexible end tube section can be moved between the baths to be connected to the selected inlet for a flow path between supply point and selected bath. The tube end sections are pref. moved independently of each other, or they are gathered together in a bundle to be moved at a slide. The baths are arranged in sequence in a line, for the slide to travel in a straight line at them, or they are on a curve with a parallel curved path for the slide. The tube end sections are fitted to chain links for movement, with a control valve at the outlet of each tube end. The flexible tube ends are moved and arranged in a wide loop from a low plane to an upper plane above the baths with the slide(s) moving above the baths (14, 15). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates costly and complex control valves, esp. with a large number of supply containers. The control function is simplified and the outlay costs of the assembly are reduced.
