PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes for working an outer frame by interposing an iron piece extending axially between a stator core and the frame having the inner periphery of circular shape and coupling the frame and the piece via coupling means. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular slot is formed axially on the outer peripheral surface of a stator core 2, a longitudinal iron piece 7 extending axially is mounted in the slot, and secured by welding. The piece 7 is formed in a defective circular cross section corresponding to the inner periphery of the circular shape of the outer frame 1. A stator winding 6 is inserted into the core 2, and press-fitted to the frame 2. The frame 2 and the piece 7 are engaged with the hole communicating with the frame 1 and the piece 7 by coupling means such as a pin 8. Thus, the working of the key slot of the frame can be eliminated. |
