PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by reducing a floor height while securing an air flow required for cooling equipment causing waste heat.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system includes: equipment storage rack 2; a hot aisle 9 located adjacent to the exhaust side of the equipment storage rack 2; a cold aisle 7 divided from the hot aisle 9 and located adjacent to the intake side of the equipment storage rack 2; and an air conditioner for cooling return air from the hot aisle 9 and then supplying the air to the cold aisle 7. One of an air return passage 10 from the hot aisle 9 to the air conditioner and an air supply passage 8 from the air conditioner to the cold aisle 7 is extended in the longitudinal direction of the equipment storage rack 2 and is constituted by a duct 4 having an opening 4a formed on the lower surface. The duct 4 is disposed in one of the hot aisle 9 and the cold aisle 7 to be aligned with the height of an upper end of the equipment storage rack 2 while the hot aisle 9 and the cold aisle 7 are divided from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
