PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible image display medium which can reduce paper, ink, etc., which are used for the conventional image display, since it can perform repeatingly the image display and image erasure, is superior in the contrast, and can display an image with high quality stably over the long- term with high resolution. SOLUTION: The display medium has two sheets 121 and 122, having light transmissivity, a developer accommodation cell 124 formed between them and surrounded with a partition wall, and a dry developer DL included in each cell. The dry developer DL includes dry developing particles WP and BP, of which the electrification polarity differs mutually and the optical reflection density differs mutually and which have triboelectrification. The WP in the two kinds of developing particles is a nonconductive particle having a volume averaged grain size in the ronge of 1μm-50μm, and the BP is a magnetic particle with volume averaged grain size in the ronge of 1μm-100μm.
