PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input system, an image input method and an image input program which can improve the joining precision of an image which is divided and photographed by using an inexpensive transfer mechanism whose positioning precision is not high. SOLUTION: This image input apparatus has an imaging means which divides a subject into a plurality of regions and photographs them. The image input apparatus can solve the problem described above by being provided with: a transformation matrix calculating means which calculates transformation matrix for projecting divided images which are photographed with the imaging means to a prescribed plane, on the basis of location information of the imaging means when the regions are photographed; a transformed image generating means which generates transformed images by performing projection transformation of the divided images by applying transformation matrix calculated with the transformation matrix calculating means; and a joining means which joins the transformed images while matching the positions of the images of the plurality of transformed images.
