an arrangement of at least two bearings, each having a bearing race; a filling comprising an active medium of an amorphous-solid substantially made up of a plurality of solid particles, the filling operatively arranged to transfer force between the bearing race of one of the bearings and the bearing race of another of the bearings to compensate for axial loads between the at least two bearings.
