PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation by controlling the fuel injection timing in accordance with the number of revolutions and the load of an engine in case the difference between a target ignition timing and an actual ignition timing is over a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic control circuit 5, the fuel injection timing is set on the basis of the number of revolutions and the load of an engine in case the time from when a piston is at the top dead center to the actual ignition time is over a fixed time. That is, a target ignition timing is obtained to obtain a difference from a detected ignition timing. Then, whether the deviation is over a fixed value or not is decided. When it is over the fixed value, the feedback control is intercepted, and the fuel injection timing is controlled in accordance with the number of revolutions and the load of the engine. This construction permits to prevent the erroneous operation even if some abnormality is caused in an ignition timing detection means. |
