A feed roller for a device for processing tree trunks, in particular for limbing and sawing, has an elastic casing in which a plurality of drivers is arranged equidistantly over the casing surface. Each driver is held in the casing by a pin-shaped fastening section which has a supporting flange on its outer end section in the region of the casing surface. A lug the length of which is greater than its width projects from the supporting flange above the casing surface. The driver lugs have a V-shaped cross-section perpendicular to their longitudinal axis and are essentially parallel in their longitudinal direction to the axis of rotation of the driving roller.
