A latch actuator arrangement for motor vehicle doors 5 comprises a pivotable actuation plate 25 which in a locking position directly obstructs a detent lever 20 which retains a pivotable fork-like latch 15 receiving a striker 10. The actuation plate 25 is coupled with actuation means including the lever 50 of a key-mechanism, the arm 55 of an interior lock control knob and a central locking servomotor 60. By independently actuating any of the actuation means the actuation plate 25 is impelled into its locking position to prevent movement of the detent lever 20. The servomotor 60 is connected to the actuation plate 25 by a rack 65 and a gear 70, or by a cam and follower. The actuation plate 25 in its locking position also obstructs movement of the release arm 80 of the detent lever, and is resiliently held in locking and unlocking positions by engagement of a part 35 in one of the notches 40. |
