PURPOSE:To connect accurately and easily a motor shaft and a rotary encoder shaft, by providing on the outside of a rotary encoder with a light emission diode for indication for a monitor of an absolute signal. CONSTITUTION:In plan view and side veiw of a rotary encoder 1, a rotary encoder shaft is represented as 2, light emission diodes for the 1st and the 2nd monitors as 3P1, 3P2, a cord as 4. The reason why a paired diodes 3P1, 3P2 is used for monitoring is because by this arrangement, the diode 3P2 permits accurate forcusing to P and Q, instead of installing 2 units of corresponding Q and Q' for a single diode. Thus, both shafts can be connected with perfect alignment of absolute signal point P of the rotary encoder and stator current wave form, namely, the magnetic pole position Q. |
