The pressure joint for connecting secondary discharge pipes (11, 13) to a main discharge pipe comprises a deflector ring (30) preventing the flattening of liquids against the main pipe, so as to form a cylindrical jet which is detached from the walls. Furthermore, a deflector (40) is arranged within the body (10) of the pressure joint making it possible to decrease the chute speed of this jet. Preferably, this deflector is made from flexible material, and is only slightly deformable under the action of the chutes, but deformable upon the passage of a rigid object, for example a pig inserted into the pressure joint. <IMAGE>
