FIELD: restoration and splicing of cable pieces. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two levers rotating around common axis and two cutters with through grooves. Rotation axis of levers passes on surfaces of through grooves. Movable cutter is in the form of ratchet wheel driven by means of lever. Gap between cutters is adjusted by means of gaskets. Cutters have cutting angle allowing to squeeze cable in cutting zone. EFFECT: possibility for making high-quality cut of cables without releasing wires of armor, lowered manual effort applied to levers of apparatus. 1 dwg |
