CONSTITUTION:A mold 27 is moved down to surround an impeller 18 in a cover 2. The mold is placed on a rest 3. The impeller 18 is positioned in the upper central part of the casting cavity 28 of the mold 27. The impeller 18 is rotated. Shots are supplied into a pipe 41 and pushed up in an annular opening by compressed air from a blower 39. The shots are projected onto the inside surface of the cavity 28 by the rotating impeller 18. At that time, the mold 27 is slowly moved up to clean all the inside surface of the casting cavity 28.
