<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contact member from being twisted when it is pressed against surfaces of terminal parts by pressing the contact member against the surfaces of the terminal parts with uniform pressure in a cylinder type switch in which a horizontal cylinder is combined with upper and lower terminal parts. SOLUTION: A cylinder 40 is mounted on a rear base member 30 trough a vibration-proof rubber 60. A contact member 50 is fixed to a tip part of a piston rod of the cylinder 40. In a condition where the contact member 50 is not pressed against surfaces of terminal parts 10 and 20, the vibration-proof rubber 60 keeps the cylinder 40 in a horizontal regular posture, and keeps the contact member 50 exactly opposite to the surface of the terminal parts 10 and 20. In a condition where the contact member 50 is pressed against the surfaces of the terminal parts 10 and 20, the vibration-proof rubber inclines the cylinder 40 so that the contact member 50 follows steps, etc., of the terminal parts 10 and 20.</p> |
