PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition having high cleaning effect and bactericidal effect, further no discomfort odor, and certain viscosity suitable for cleaning of a vertical surface, and a method for use thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a detergent composition for hard surfaces containing one or more alkali agent (A) selected from an amine compound or an alkali metal hydroxide salt, a quaternary ammonium compound (B) represented by the following general formula (1), an anionic surfactant (C), dimethylamine oxide (D) having a hydrocarbon group having 12 to 18 carbon atoms and a sequestering agent (E). (1), where Rto Rrepresent an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, X represents a halogen atom, however any one or more of Rto Rmust be an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. |
